HI, I'M JOHN
Growing up in Texas, I was raised by a kindergarten teacher and a small business owner. After graduating from Texas A&M and beginning my career in finance, I transitioned to my true passion: ensuring every child has access to an excellent education that prepares them for a successful life of their own choosing. I have worked to accomplish this by developing education sector leaders and helping public schools recruit and retain the right talent for their teams.

After completing Duke Business School and then serving as a non-profit executive for several years, I founded my own company -- WorkTogether Talent Consulting -- a talent services firm in the PreK-12 education sector. As a passionate Dad with young kids (11, 9 and 4), I am eager to put my education sector experience to work for the next generation of Westlake grads.

MY FAMILY
I live in the Cuernavaca neighborhood with my wife Ashley, two daughters (11 year-old at West Ridge and 9 year-old at Barton Creek), son (4), and our puppy, Blue.
